- How is pass/fail decided?
- You set the passing percentage (often 60% or 70%). If your score is greater than or equal to that value, we show Pass. Your real course may use curves, attendance, or weighted components—this tool only looks at the numbers you enter.
- Are US letter grades and GPA official?
- No. They are common approximations for quick comparison. Schools differ on plus/minus cutoffs, rounding, and whether D is passing. Always use your syllabus.
- What about UK, German, or 1–10 scales?
- Those rows are rough mappings for orientation. UK bands follow a common undergraduate-style split on percentage; German 1–5 and 1–10 values use simple linear formulas and may not match your institution’s rules.
- Can I use this for weighted quizzes?
