Delete your Ailurn account

How to request deletion

1. Email privacy@ailurn.com from the same email address on your Ailurn account.
2. Use the subject line Ailurn account deletion request.
3. In the message, write that you want your Ailurn account and associated data deleted, and include the email on the account.
4. We confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.

There is no in-app delete button yet. Email is the way to request deletion for accounts created with email and password or with Google.

Data we delete

When we complete your request, we delete:

• Account data: name, email, and profile details
• Courses, lessons, quizzes, flashcards, planner chats, and uploads on the account
• Learner memory and study progress
• Sign-in sessions and authentication tokens
• Public Explore listings you published. Copies other people already forked stay on their accounts

Data we keep

• Billing and tax records required by law (for example invoices processed by our payment provider). We keep these only as long as the law requires, typically up to 7 years, and not for marketing
• Short-lived backups, overwritten on the normal backup cycle (usually within 30 days)
• Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
• Records we must keep to handle the deletion request, prevent abuse, or comply with a legal hold

Deleting Ailurn does not delete your Google account if you signed in with Google.
